Booking fee, paid by your client, shown before they pay

EZBookings is $0/month for your business. Clients see a $2.99 booking fee before they pay. Standard card processing fees apply to payments you collect. See the full breakdown.

You cannot answer the phone with your hands in someone's hair.

The booking happens whether or not you are free to take it.

  • Your page is open at 9pm, on a Sunday, and while you are with a client
  • Only the times you are actually free are offered, per person and per service
  • One link goes on your Google profile, your Instagram bio and a QR code at the desk
  • No app to download and no account for the client to create

The chair is empty and nobody paid for it.

A deposit at the moment of booking is the thing a text message cannot do.

  • You set the deposit per service, and it comes off what they owe on the day
  • The card is charged when they book, not when they turn up
  • A confirmation goes out straight away and a reminder before the appointment
  • They can cancel from their own link, so the slot comes back while it is still sellable

Your client list should leave with you.

Every appointment adds a name and a number to a list that is yours.

  • Name, phone, email and what they booked, saved as they book it
  • Export the whole list whenever you want, including on your way out
  • No marketplace putting the shop down the road next to you
  • No contract and no phone call to cancel
Ready when you are

Put your booking link online.

Nothing to pay and no card to enter. You can be adding your services in the next few minutes.

No card to start. No contract.

What clients see

Four taps, and the time is held.

This is the whole client side. There is no step where they are asked to make an account, install anything, or wait for you to reply.

  1. 1

    They open your link

Your name, your services, your prices, your photo. It loads on any phone.

  2. 2

They pick a service and a person

With how long it takes and what it costs, before they choose a time.

  3. 3

    They pick an open time

Only times you are free. Yours, not a marketplace's.

  4. 4

They pay and get a confirmation

Deposit and booking fee on separate lines, then an email they can keep.

How the fee works

One appointment, all the way through.

We are paid by the booking fee on your client's payment and by nothing else. There is no monthly bill and we take no percentage of what you charge for the service.

The deposit goes to your own bank account through Stripe, who charge their standard processing rate on it, the same as they would on your card machine.

While we are new

$25 back after your first 2 real bookings.

We are early and we would rather pay for real use than for adverts. Put your link in front of your clients, take 2 appointments through it, and we send you $25. The software is free either way.

What counts

2 appointments booked through your page, paid for, kept, and not refunded. Real clients, not you testing your own card.

What happens then

Your account shows up on our side as having qualified. A person checks it, the same way anybody sending money checks first.

When you get it

We send the $25 once that check is done. We will not put a date on it, because the check is a person rather than a timer.

One reward per business. We may decline one where the bookings do not look like real trade - the same card over and over, or appointments nobody attended - and we will say so rather than going quiet. This is an offer while we are getting started and we may stop running it; stopping it never takes back a reward already earned.

Getting started

Three steps, and you can stop halfway.

Everything you enter is saved as you go, so you can do the first part now and the rest after closing. Most businesses are live in about 9 minutes, depending on how long your service list is and how quickly Stripe verifies you.

1A few minutes

Create your account

Your business name, your email, a password. No card, and nothing to install.

2The part that takes the time

Add services, hours and payments

Type in what you do, how long each one takes and what it costs, then set when you work and connect Stripe so you can be paid.

3One minute

Share your link

Paste it into your Google Business Profile, your Instagram bio and a QR code at the desk. Clients can book from that moment.

Start here

Type your business name and press the button.

That is step one. It takes you straight to your account with the name already filled in.

No card to start. No contract.

What it does not doWorth knowing before you sign up rather than after.
  • No native mobile app. Your booking page opens in any phone browser and can be saved to the home screen.
  • No text messages. Confirmations and reminders go out by email.
  • No memberships, packages or gift cards. There is nothing here that sells ten of something up front.
  • No walk-in queue. Every appointment is booked for a specific time.
Straight answers

What you are probably wondering.

It is free? What is the catch?

There is a fee, it is just not on your side of the payment. A $2.99 booking fee is added to your client's payment at checkout and shown to them on its own line before they pay. That is what pays for the whole thing. You pay no monthly bill and we take no cut of what you charge for the service. What you do still pay is Stripe's normal card processing on the deposits you collect, the same as on your card machine today.

Will the fee cost me bookings?

It is under three dollars, on an appointment somebody has already decided to make, shown to them before they pay rather than hidden in your prices. Booking fees on the client's side are normal in this trade now: StyleSeat charges its clients a booking fee on every appointment and publishes the amount. We cannot promise no client will ever mind. We can promise none of them will be surprised.

My clients just text me.

Plenty still will, and nothing here stops them. This is for the one who thought of it at 9pm when you were never going to answer, for the one who went somewhere else while waiting for you to reply, and for the one who would have booked and then not turned up. A deposit taken at the moment of booking is the part a text message cannot do.

Do I need to buy anything?

No. It runs in the browser you are reading this in, on the phone, tablet or laptop you already own. There is no register to replace, no card reader to buy and no app to install, for you or for your clients.

I am not good with computers, and I have no time.

Adding a service is typing a name, a price and how long it takes. Start with the five you book most and add the rest whenever. Everything saves as you go, so you can close the tab in the middle and pick it up after work. If you get stuck, send us a message and a person will answer.

What if I want to leave?

You download your client list and go. No contract, no notice period, and no phone call to cancel. The list being yours is the whole point, so holding it back would defeat it.

Still have one we have not answered? Ask a question and a person will reply. There is no sales sequence on the other side of the form.
